POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The In-Direct Sourcing Internship is a project-oriented work assignment designed to offer hands-on sourcing and procurement experience within the Global Sourcing team. The assignment is designed to expose the intern to negotiation skills, strategy setting, and analytics, and the overall role Sourcing plays within Herbalife.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Provide business requirements to GTS team
Ensure projects are moving on time for completion and GSS expectations are met
Resolve day-to-day issues between departments.
Assist in the implementation of a new online booking tool for travel
Assist in contract gathering for the Indirect Sourcing team
Provide general financial analysis to support Technology, Marketing, MRO, and Professional Service.
Research current contracts and extracting important metadata
Research market leaders in different technologies and providing summaries of differences in products Herbalife is considering using
Process oriented thinker that can break down complex problems and work to create processes to empower the organization.
Data entry of contract information into systems to help track contracts going forward.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
Sharp analytical and judgment skills

Clear communicator with self-confidence
MS Office proficient, specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Good time management is a must
Work independently and proactively
Experience:
0–1 years of related (internship) experience
Working in a team environment outside of the classroom
Education:
A current sophomore and junior level student in an undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management (Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain), or other related major
Recently graduated Senior within the past 6 months or a current graduate student in a graduate degree program also considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
