About this opportunity

Supporting the Beacon Health System Business Intelligence department function, this internship position will be responsible for the following tasks, functions, and / or projects:

• Design a process to track Data Governance related requests and communicate request status.


• Manage multiple data requests including communications and requirements development.


• Execute data quality checks to support an upcoming Indiana Hospital Association project.


• Interact with cross functional departments and learn health system data and systems.

Preferred candidates will be currently enrolled and majoring in healthcare-related fields, Healthcare Administration, or an academic major directly related to the position details provided above (such as Information Systems, Data Analytics, Health Information, Business.) . Currently enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior-level students are preferred; however, all students are encouraged to apply.
