Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Financial Analyst in Richland, WA.

Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration, LLC (HLMI) is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The HLMI members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

The 222-S Laboratory's primary mission is to provide analytical support for the storage and treatment of tank waste at the Hanford Site. These services are performed at the 222-S Laboratory Complex, located in the 200 West Area of the Hanford Site.

Navarro Research and Engineering, (Navarro) Inc.'s Business Services team is seeking a Financial Analyst to work independently in a dynamic work setting, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position supports the Hanford 222-S Laboratory contract between the U.S Department of Energy and Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration LLC.

The Financial Analyst duties and responsibilities include:
  • Review timecards to ensure contract requirements and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)-compliant charging.
  • Develop and analyze timecard reporting metrics.
  • Support upload of cost files from Deltek Costpoint to Hanford Business Management System.
  • Provide support for Department of Energy (DOE) invoice submissions.
  • Monitor and coordinate accruals processing and submission to DOE.
  • Funds management - track and report funding limitations to projects.
  • Reconciliation of monthly General Ledger accounts.
  • Support special projects upon request.
  • Participate in assessment and development of policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong data gathering and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours

  • This is a regular, full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. hours of work.
