Title: Part-Time Student-Product Engineering-Fargo ND- 72646

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities

• Applies existing applications to routine problems
• Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products
• Executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation
• Evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on knowledge of engineering applications
• Compiles and furnishes necessary information to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
• Graduation date of 2022 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
• 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
• 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

What Makes You Stand Out

• Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with embedded systems where hardware and software interface
• Experience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) testing
