The team
Our Program Management team works on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to deliver solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for what's best for our customers. We work closely with Product Management, Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to successfully bring the product to market.

This position
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead and motivate our teams by introducing efficient processes, driving innovative and measurable solutions to maximize efficiency for team members, and working in unison with the product development teams to create the best experiences for our customers. This role will be responsible for managing programs of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the life cycle.
The senior technical Program Manager will plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring management of interdependencies and managing risks proactively to drive completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. This person will plan, track and monitor work of cross functional teams including but not limited to product management, Engineering, marketing, Field enablement, Customer enablement and program staff, providing technical support and direction.Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment so the person needs to be fully competent in area of technical Program management expertise.

This role will include a focus on process and the ideal candidate will be a solid transformation change professional. May have project lead roles and or need to supervise lower level personnel as the organization grows.


This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Director of Program Management.

Job responsibilities
* Understand business goals, analyze operations across multiple product lines, design KPIs and other metrics for tracking execution
* Systematically ommunicate performance against metrics, schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to stakeholders
* Lead junior members and engineering managers with creation of monitoring dashboards
* Train teams on agile practices when necessary including stepping in as Scrum Master while training the teams
* Keep senior executives and business teams updated on project timelines and results.
* Partner with product managers to define end to end launch plan and identify gaps.
* Lead communication within the team, across Product Development, and across DocuSign
* Ensure adherence to engineering SDLC and visibility to release management (e.g. release targets updated during sprint planning)
* Identify and track risks to engineering delivery and overall program schedule
* Continually evaluate existing processes and procedures. Make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Conduct change management efforts of moderate to high complexity impacting one or multiple mission's cross-functional processes
* Mange teams across disciplines and across geographies (San Francisco, Seattle, Sweden, Egypt..etc)


Basic Qualifications
* 10 years leading complex, cross-functional, global programs in SaaS based products
* B.S degree in Computer science or a related comparable field of study
* Proficient in using Atlassian Toolset: Jira, Confluence, Portfolio/Advanced Reporting..etc


Preferred Qualifications
* MBA and experience in BI/Analytics highly preferred
*Track record of managing successful launches of products, including GTM enablement
* Experience building strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
* Ability to successfully navigate multiple technical functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, release management, and software engineering to understand and eliminate obstacles
* Equally confident in working with executive team members as working with software developers.
* Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment
* Experience in a company that has scaled or experience in both small and large scale software development organizations.
* Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations
