Job Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for administration of Human Resources programs, policies, and activities for the TTM Chippewa Falls Division. These responsibilities include: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, unemployment, hiring/terminations, maintaining electronic and hard copy records and coordinating events. This role is accountable for achieving corporate HR objectives and goals at the site-level and communicating workplace performance and activities to the HR Manager.

This person is also the main HR representative to employees, answering questions and communicating to the employee population on payroll, benefit and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • As front line resource, provide HR support services to employees and management team, responding to questions, ensuring all company policies, procedures and practices are communicated and consistently applied.

  • Establish strong rapport with Supervisors & Managers to understand staffing needs, determine best recruiting process, and provide guidance to fill vacancies in a timely manner.

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process to identify and attract quality candidates as well as proactively buildtalent pipeline. Utilize applicant tracking system for requisition approval, postings, and maintaining candidate database, screen online applications, schedule and conduct interviews (phone and in-person), connect with all candidates in a timely manner, collect personnel documentation and extend offers. Utilize traditional and non-traditional resources to source candidates. Review and update job descriptions. Partner with employment agencies.

  • Analyze and respond to staffing turnover and trends and Affirmative Action Plan goals and act as liaison with area employment agencies.

  • Coordinate full new hire on-boarding process and lead new hire orientation.

  • Prepare all exit paperwork and required notifications associated with employee terminations, conduct exit interviews.

  • Ensure all employee records are maintained as required by applicable legal requirements.

  • Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring all employee changes and transactions are processed in a timely manner.

  • Provide leadership and actively participate with the various committees for company events, site communications, employee meetings and community related initiatives to promote wellness and employee engagement.

  • Partner with employees and/or management in settling disputes including employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:


  • Strong candidate sourcing experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and employment laws.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and sensitivity in difficult situations as well as discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Payroll systems, and HRIS.

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently.

  • Maintain regular attendance.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degreein human resources preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential a plus.

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Export Statement:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
