The position is located on the North Slope and requires a flexible rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however, transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals are provided while in Prudhoe Bay.
Administer the Quality Management System for Worley Alaska to assure compliance with applicable codes, standards and Owner requirements. Performs quality control functions to assure compliance with project and Owner requirements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Company Quality Management system and other related quality documents.
Review and approve field or shop generated procedures and related documents.
Perform formal audits and periodic assessments.
Develop, implement and document training and qualification plans and procedures.
Ensure compliance with established project, Corporate and Owner quality requirements.
Assist Management in the Quality staff planning and execution.
Assist in the development and review of written work instructions and procedures.
Assist in the processing of installation procedures.
Notifies supervisors of any discrepancies found between work completed and material installed and Owner quality requirements.
Performing special process and field installation inspections and surveillance of equipment and materials.
Perform quality constructability review of projects.
Continually review and update Quality Management Systems, Procedures and Processes.
Review engineering drawings and track quality progress based on scope of work document.
Attend training sessions, seminars, and appropriate educational classes as required to remain current with industry processes and standards.
Updates Quality Control files.
Will perform field and/or Fab Shop inspections.
Other job assignments as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong planning and organizational skills
Proven ability to plan, coordinate and execute high priority jobs in a timely manner that involve multiple crafts (drillsite operation, general maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, electrical, etc.)
Ability and knowledge to interpret construction drawings, including P&IDs.
Knowledge of technical and safety policies, procedures and standards applicable to industrial construction, especially welding.
Ability to communicate clear direction to quality inspectors, work crew leads, craft persons, project management team, and client representatives
Ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively with fellow workers, and demonstrate commitment to established safety policies and procedures
Ability to direct and motivate others in planning and scheduling work execution
Ability to recognize and correct gaps in the safe execution of construction work scopes
Ability to effectively manage and lead a team
Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills

Lift 25 lbs from floor to knuckles level x 2 with a 12 second interval,
Carry 25 lbs with two hands for distance of 50 feet x 2 for a total of 100 ft (allow a 60 second rest break between carry repetitions),
Stair Climb and Carry: While carrying 30 lbs in one hand and using the other hand to hold onto a stair railing for safety, climb up and down 5 flight of stairs, 4 steps per flight x 5 repetitions for a total of climbing up and down 100 steps. Self-paced. (Allow a 60 second rest break after climbing up and down a set of 25 steps.)
Slanted Ladder: Climb up and down with 40 rungs x 2 repetitions for a total of 80 rungs. Self-paced but continuous (Allow a 60 second rest break after climbing up and down 40 rungs.)
Required Qualifications:
Eight to ten (8-10) years of quality control experience in relevant field.
Must have 5 years of relevant North Slope experience as a Quality Control Supervisor or Technical Authority
Certified Welding Inspector per AWS QC1
Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley's auto insurer
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS college or university degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Quality Management is preferred. May substitute field experience for degree.
