This position is responsible for assisting in the performance of various audit activities. These include planning, execution, and documentation for individual audits. The Summer Internship Program provides students with hands-on, career-specific experience through full-time work over the summer.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, execution, documentation, and remediation steps for individual audits
Assist with translating for audits performed in Mexico
Testing, walkthroughs, and documentation of internal controls
Help prepare timely written reports detailing the results of the internal control testing or audits
As required, participate in special projects, including financial analysis, accounting research and other special assignments
Participate in planning meetings and walkthroughs with various levels of management
Additional duties as assigned
Position Specific Details:
Current Accounting or Finance college student preferred
Available to work 40 hours a week from May through August
Able to travel with team to plant facilities in the US and Mexico for one to two weeks at a time
Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken
0-2 years' work experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Strong customer service skills
Takes initiative when it comes to identifying and solving problems
