JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Reads and interprets investor product matrices, underwriting guidelines, rate sheets and bulletins to translate/enter into the Optimal Blue Product and Pricing Engine.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing Investor updates by reviewing rate sheets, guidelines and comparing to existing information to determine whether a change to the rule is required.


• Test tasks and functionality of system and perform content audits to ensure accuracy.


• Analyze new investor product documentation as it relates to being implemented in the Optimal Blue Product and Pricing Engine.


• Identify specialty products and Non-QM products to determine whether those products can be supported by the system.


• Assist with business and pricing projects.


• May be responsible for other miscellaneous research projects.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills


• Prior Mortgage originations experience highly preferred


• Experience working in a highly detailed, analytical work environment highly preferred

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the mortgage origination industry preferred


• Logical, Analytical, Organized and Intuitive


• Strong quantitative skills with solid grounding in basic mathematical concepts and analytical/logical thought processes


• Tech savvy; proficiency in web browsing and computer use


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and non-technical information to any audience


• Self-driven and excels in fast-paced, constantly changing environment


• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines


• Ability to provide excellent customer service


• Team player with ability to drive projects to successful outcome


• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities

Content Specialist I

Entry-level role into the job family. Works under immediate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires three (3) or less years of relevant work experience.

Target pay range: $50,790 - $70,000 (typical annual salary for this role)

Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.
