We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as a Registered Nurse - Vaccination located anywhere in California. This RN role will safely and properly administer the COVID-19 vaccine to event participants, provide proper education about potential adverse reactions, and document all vaccination activities. RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute manufacturer guidelines with little to no waste of vaccine
Record accurate and timely documentation of all vaccination activities
Follow proper aseptic technique in administering vaccinations
Educate patients regarding vaccination process and possible adverse reactions
Maintain proper use of the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Adhere to infection control procedures
Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Organize workload, set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner, and utilize resources appropriately while complying with organizational standards
Perform duties and functions in compliance with state/federal laws and regulations
Complete required training
Conform with and support quality assurance and improvement processes
Build rapport with team members, internal/external customers, and management team
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a health-care delivery system required
Experience within the last 6 months in administering vaccinations required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
EDUCATION
Valid and unrestricted professional license (RN) in the state of residence required
Active CPR certification required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
