Punch Press Operator - Wed-Fri Nights at Daikin Applied in Owatonna, Minnesota

Shift available:

Gold shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am Wednesday - Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pierces and form parts on punch presses.


• Makes setups and adjustments to fabricate parts according to print.


• Assists team leader when necessary and makes own setups 50% or more of the time.


• Utilizes Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.

• Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.


• Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
  


• Ability to use hand tools.


• Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License.


• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.


• Ability to operate hand tools.


• Ability to read and understand written English.
