We currently have an exciting opportunity for a RCM Practice Collaboration Specialist.

The RCM Practice Collaboration Specialist supports the department or office through the timely resolution of needed information, provider inquiries, and questions.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    * Ensure all medical record corrections are made on the original medical record by the original provider with same date of service and supply copies for billing purposes.
  • * Communicate with chiefs, physicians/providers and coordinators at the facilities via email as needed.

  • * Ensure all documentation on record is for the same patient on the same date of service.

  • * Maintain daily/weekly/monthly production deadlines and demand.

  • * Notify Manager of any recurring problems.

  • * Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

  • * Read and abide by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.

  • * Report any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.

  • * Obtain clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 or more months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

* MS Office Suite

* Healthcare Billing System (GE Centricity preferred)
