General Summary
Murata's Business Development Managersare responsible for growing and developing our future business in strategic market spaces. We look to our Business Development Manager to lead our understanding the market needs and how to align our technology's value proposition to meet that need. This role will be a part of our Mobility business development team which is focused on the Automotive market as well as the future technologies that will shape how people and goods are made mobile. Murata looks to its Business Development Managers to be involved with our customers from idea creation to re-occurring orders while understanding the longer term needs that should influence our product road maps. This specific role will be focused on Murata's complete product portfolio leading our approach with our IC partners in the Mobility space.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Accountability for developing, implementing and driving business plans within an assigned market segment to support growth in the business - it is critical to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to be successful.
Within the wireless market segment, identify key companies within the segment and develop and maintain good working relationships with key players within the target companies.
Develop the value proposition for products to be marketed to identified market sectors.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with key departments within Murata (design, production, finance, legal and any other departments designated as key to realize the business plan).
Keep the organization current about developments in industry and technologies that may impact Murata's ability to meet and/or exceed customer's expectations and requirements.
Develop a competitive RF product analysis.
Make proposals demonstrating the Murata RF product value proposition.
Identify key markets where Murata RF product value proposition is strong.
Develop "go to market" strategies with external stakeholders to increase sales.
Target RF and Wireless related trade shows and coordinate with external stakeholders to attend.
Provide RF solutions, technical support, and troubleshooting to customer design engineers.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
Interfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise.
Maintains positive relationships with key sales team members and customers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the project or business growth.
Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
