Cognitive Research Supervisor, Program for Assisted Cognitive Testing at RTI Research Triangle Institute in Jefferson City, Missouri

Job Description:

RTI is currently seeking a Cognitive Research Supervisor (CRS) to work remotely on client sponsored cognitive testing to explore how participants understand response scales and answer mapping response options.

POSITION TYPE:

Candidates must be able to work from April 2021 through July 2021. Additional work may be available beyond July 2021. The position is full-time. We are interested in individuals who can work a flexible schedule. This would include some weekend hours (Day/Night) and weekday hours (Day/Night). Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Cognitive Research Supervisor (CRS) will lead the recruiting and scheduling of participants, conduct cognitive interviews and perform administrative activities. The CRSs will ensure that data collection activities are carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner, that data collected are of the highest possible quality, and all activities are conducted in a professional manner following established protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES- -

* Successful experience with screening, recruitment, and conducting interviews.

* Available to work a flexible schedule for at least 40 per week.

* Supervise and support the Cognitive Research Assistant (CRA) throughout the data collection period.

* Review FI production, time, and expense reports to ensure timely, accurate, and reasonable project charges as well as provide feedback to research associates on their performance, noting areas of strength and areas worthy of improvement.

* Participate in weekly individual conference calls with project managers.

* Conduct weekly individual conference calls with assigned staff.

* Assume full and legal responsibility for use and care of all laptop computers and other equipment, taking reasonable and appropriate steps to safeguard against damage, loss, or theft, and returning all equipment at the conclusion of the assignment or at the request of your supervisor.

* Adhere strictly to project deadlines.

* Salary for this position will be approximately $2000 per bi-weekly pay period depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High school graduate with 1 year of experience directly or indirectly related to experience in interviewing

* Available for data collection period.

* Available for project provided on-the-job training

* Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening, and fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.

* Proficient MS Word, Excel, and Team's skills

* Have strong attention to detail.

* Ability to read text verbatim from a laptop screen and paper documents.

* Have consistent access to an in-home internet connection to access documents on O365 and complete Zoom video interviews.

* Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

* Able to keep project information private
