Job Description:

An outstanding opportunity is now available for a Clinical Laboratory Manager at a non-profit medical center in the Southern California

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the direction and effective operation which includes planning, controlling and monitoring operational performance of the Laboratory; ensuring compliance with departmental and administrative policies and procedures.  The Manager will guarantee compliance with JCAHO, state and federal regulatory agencies, and compliance with the College of American Pathologists standards.

The Clinical Lab Manager will report to the Director Clinical Laboratory, and will be supported by a team of Clinical Laboratory Specialists, Medical Laboratory Technologists, 1 Blood Bank Supervisor, and 2 clinical supervisors.

The Clinical Manager of Laboratory will direct daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory and Pathology Services with 24-hour responsibility. The Lab and Manager will provide leadership and works closely with Lab/Pathology management, staff, and pathologists, to guide technical and operational direction, planning and coordination of services.
