DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES


  • Leads systems support staff and provides necessary support and guidance to meet and exceed objectives
  • Maintains positive morale with staff
  • Monitors and evaluates team metrics and arranges for applicable actions as necessary
  • Forecasts internal IT work volume, equipment needs, and staffing levels
  • Oversees clear and ongoing communication with customers to understand their needs and agree on deliverables
  • Creates, updates and communicates timelines to customers
  • Responsible for inventory and management of IT equipment to minimize loss and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Creates annual department IT budget to ensure customer needs are met while spending responsibly
  • Analyzes past and current trends to manage workloads and to forecast future department needs and priorities
  • Prepares and conducts performance reviews and provides ongoing development of staff
  • Ensures compliance with department and company policies and procedures
  • Coordinates with upper management on performance/conduct issues
  • Actively engages in ongoing process improvement, as well as personal development
  • Travel up to 5% - domestic and international
