Job Description:
A registered professional nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift worked. Coordinator of the nursing plan of care as well as carrying out physician orders and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. Also directs and guides other members of the patient care team. The Float Pool RN will be assigned to different units based on staffing needs.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience required in two or more specialty areas.
- Current VA RN license. Those newly applying for a Virginia license may be employed under temporary licensure or registry-eligible status if approved by the related regulatory board.
- Must have CPR in addition to requirements for specialty units.
