Our Specific Manufacturing Capability department is searching for a Maintenance Manager - In this position, you will be responsible for multiple foremen and craft disciplines of SMC maintenance technicians, and the safe and effective execution of maintenance tasks in accordance with approved Conduct of Maintenance processes (MISTI) and approved maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review and final approve of expedited and planned maintenance work orders as a qualified Maintenance Manager, collaborate with Operations to establish and execute SMC work priorities, effectively use maintenance resources to accomplish assigned work according to approved schedules, and training and qualification of foremen and technicians.


• Ensuring that Maintenance Operations personnel are trained and qualified to perform maintenance activities.


• Successfully addressing problems that are multiorganizational in scope. Asset management and budgeting to ensure facilities, equipment, and operating procedures are adequate, are coordinated across organizations and are ready to carry out multi-focus business operations.


• Providing staff opportunities, career development, and mentoring.


• Setting individual performance goals and provides feedback thereto.


• Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental compliance by actively supporting and implementing the philosophies and principles of Conduct of Operations, Integrated Safety Management, and the Voluntary Protection Program, ensuring as the highest priority, compliance with Federal and State regulations and Conduct of Maintenance Standards.


• Though posted as a 40-hour position, the responsibilities of this position will require back shift and weekend support as required to support SMC production goals and schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A.A.S. plus 11years, B.S. plus 7 years, or M.S. & 5 years of relevant experience.


• Ability to obtain a DOE L clearance.
