Job Summary

The intern will have the opportunity to conduct large-scale genomic data analyses on high-performance computing servers using both publicly available datasets and Eisai's internal datasets, focusing on neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. Results from the analyses will support Eisai's preclinical drug discovery programs to validate current drug targets and identify novel targets.

Requirements


  • Currently pursuing a Master or Ph.D. degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics, Genetic Epidemiology, or related field.

  • Experience with R and Linux environment is required.

  • Knowledge of human genetics is required.

  • Knowledge of neuroscience is a plus.

  • Publication of research articles in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.

  • Familiarity with technology required for remote work.

  • Good communication skills and team oriented.
