Position Summary:

The BioSkills Lab Intern will be responsible for assisting the BioSkills Lab Group with scheduling, preparation, ongoing lab operations, specimen and supply management, and other activities as needed. The Bioskills Lab facility is utilized for cadaveric procedure labs in support of external and internal programs such as surgeon visits, surgeon and sales educational programs, product development, research, and corporate lab activities. This internship is an exciting opportunity for any student looking to get into the medical field.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting with set up of lab stations, including appropriate specimen, instruments, and equipment


• Helping with lab circulating duties, similar to how actual Operating Rooms function including operation of C-Arm and other equipment


• Receiving, managing, and storing lab supplies and equipment


• Supporting Lab recordkeeping as needed


• Maintaining a safe, clean, organized Operating Room-like Lab environment


• Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role


• Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

In order to be qualified for this role, youmust possessthe following:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Medical or related technical field


• Familiarity with, and interest in, human anatomy and biology


• Basic knowledge of an Operating Room environment


• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word


• Strong self-starting skills, well organized, detail-oriented and capable of working in a deadline driven environment


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
