Sales Compensation Analyst at Rackspace, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description:

Rackspace is hiring an experienced Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Global Sales Enablement and Strategy team at our Headquarters location in San Antonio, TX*.In this position, you will play a critical role in making sure Rackers receive accurate variable compensation payments. Your analytical skills will help evaluate plan performance, run simulations, and create efficiencies in Rackspace's sales compensation plans.*Due to COVID-19 health and safety precautions, this role is temporarily officed remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains and audits information needed to track sales revenue and variable compensation for commission eligible Rackers.


• Gathers data for payment calculation; prepares commission calculations, reports, system uploads and data files.


• Audits commission and payment files to ensure accuracy, identifies data integrity issues and determines root cause and problem resolution.


• Implements changes to resolve data integrity issues.


• Maintains documentation to comply with internal controls.


• Develops, maintains, and improves reports to effectively track or capture data.


• Resolves complex reconciliation issues.


• Serves as an escalation point of contact for commission related questions.


• Documents best practices and common process to update commission plan provisions and system configuration documentation necessary to calculate correct payment, utilizing Excel to prepare a calculator for Rackers and leaders demonstrating the commission calculation methodology.


• Advises leaders on metrics and commission components to drive commission plans that support the attainment of business goals.


• Leads change management for commission plan changes in systems and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field required. High school diploma or equivalent required. At the manager's discretion, experience may substitute for education at a rate of 3 years experience to 1 year of education; a combination of education and experience may be used


• Requires 2+ years of related work experience in commissions, sales operations, and/or payroll processing


• Experience with Callidus software strongly preferred


• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Advanced proficiency in Excel with knowledge of writing and applying formulas.


• Intermediate knowledge of commissions processing tools and systems.


• Strong analytical skills.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Ability to foresee and embrace change.
