Financial Analyst - SG&A at Danone North America in White Plains, New York

About the job

Our Finance team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward.

The position will support in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual results for SG&A spend across all functions; and aid in the annual and rolling forecast cycles.

In this role, you will be accountable for:

• Working with many stakeholders to build and update forecasts as needed


• Using a variety of systems to collect and analyze results (Tagetik, SAP, Magnitude, PowerBI)


• Providing monthly commentary and variance analysis on actuals and forecast trends


• Partnering with the accounting organization to prepare and book monthly journal entries


• Assisting in other reporting, presentations and analytical initiatives (e.g., benchmarking, savings tracking) as necessary

About you

• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or Finance


• 1-3 years of progressive experience in a related field


• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements


• Strong analytical skills including data modeling


• Robust attention to detail and accuracy


• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills


• PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point)


• Ability to work under tight deadlines


• The candidate will ideally have:


• Consumer products company experience


• SAP experience
