Nestled in southeast Missouri, Bloomfield is a small town with a rich history - and we've been proud to call Bloomfield home to one of our litter factories since 1995. This factory was the first to produce Lightweight® litter, which has revolutionized the category within the pet care industry - a product that weighs half the amount of conventional litter. Unique to this factory is an overhead bridge that allows full pallets of finished products to be conveyed to the distribution warehouse just north of the factory. This innovation, in conjunction with various others, played a meaningful role in Nestlé Purina earning the Malcolm Baldrige Award in manufacturing. In 2020, our Bloomfield factory will undergo a 110,000-square-foot expansion in processing and packaging. This is a $115 million investment, allowing Nestlé Purina to meet the growing demand from cat owners. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for accurately and effectively, supporting the plant maintenance group by developing the preventative and predictive maintenance program utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This involves collaborating with the Operations Planning Manager, Production, Maintenance and Engineering departments to coordinate planned maintenance activities to ensure proper asset care and reliability. You will also be responsible for all maintenance work order KPI tracking, trending management, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are effectively planned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the SAP maintenance system, from establishing equipment to cost reporting.
- Manage preventative/predictive maintenance system, planning and scheduling.
- Establish, improve and analyze predictive maintenance program.
- Coordinate outside contractor support necessary for facility's maintenance.
- Coordinate equipment downtime with production.
- Publish weekly maintenance schedule.
- Data entry of new preventative maintenance procedures.
- Write new PMs and modify old PMs.
Basic Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, military or related environment
