What we're looking for:

You will work with the Corporate IT Active Directory team to perform the analysis and process improvements for access management in relation to Active Directory. You will assist in the analysis and implementation of security controls to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Citrix's assets.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for analyzing account access of directory services and lifecycle governance processes around Active Directory and Azure AD objects, including user accounts, non-user accounts, group management, OU structure, Role-based access control, and GPOs.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and detail existing Active Directory environment

  • Build a User Role for Access Control, Access Policy, and Privileged roles

  • Define, configure and troubleshoot identity governance and Role-based access control

  • Resolve unwanted access and remove privileges, thereby reducing blast radius

  • Data mine data with regards to application security and configure access policy and privileges

  • Work with application owners to resolve the best access policy for their application including admin accounts

  • Define, configure and tackle ACLs, AD Groups, OU

  • Secure utmost accounts for application and configure monitoring for any change on these acute accounts

  • Configure and build Domain Controller build and decommission process

  • Configure user access reviews and develop workflows for requesting access

  • Seek Domain controller and replication issues

  • FSMO roles and maintenance

  • Build PowerShell scripts for bulk Active Directory configuration and reporting

  • Seek Active Directory Trusts and configuration.

  • Configure and seek DNS and Name resolution

  • Craft and configure Server and security Hardening including Disaster recovery

  • Develop a strategy for Capacity planning, Performance tuning, AD Design Consideration, and Standard methodologies

  • Configure and fix Group policy

  • Streamline the processes and recommend upgrades to Access Management services

  • Provide access management gap analysis and recommend process improvements

Basic Qualifications:


  • Requires deep knowledge of job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

  • Viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have a broad knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6 years; or Ph.D. with 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Solid grasp of Microsoft Active Directory and associated components (LDAP/Kerberos)

  • In-depth experience in Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019, Azure and Active Directory PowerShell

  • Must have worked in previous projects involving Joiners, movers, and leavers process

  • Identity Management such as SailPoint

  • Password Filtering such as SpecOps

  • Privileged Access Management solutions

  • Familiar with Operating system security for Windows - internals and hardening

  • Familiar with an Identity Management & SSO solution

  • Understanding of networking and firewalls

  • Strong analytical skills and convey findings clearly and concisely to a technical and non-technical audience

  • Able to research and develop Splunk queries including scheduled tasks

  • Successfully implement against project tasks and work

  • Build and maintain clear and easily understandable documentation for the current and proposed state of processes within the scope of the position

  • Ability to analyze, propose, and implement workflows and process improvements

  • Experience adhering to a change management process for all production change
