Summary
The Center for Children's Health (C4CH) Intern is responsible for various duties related to community outreach as outlined in this job description. This internship experience is intended to develop an understanding and gain working knowledge related to identifying the children's health care needs in the community, and developing and implementing community initiatives to address identified needs. The C4CH Intern will learn through observation, job shadowing and project participation; and will report to the Assistant Vice President or a Program Director who will function in the role of Preceptor. Project assignments for the C4CH Intern will be coordinated by the person requesting project support with the Preceptor or the Preceptor's designee.
Education & Experience
Completion of Bachelor's degree in business, social work, public/community health, education/marketing, theology/religion or psychology and working toward a Master's degree. * Experience with MS Office software and ability/willingness to learn new software applications. * Strong oral and written communication skills and sound organizational abilities. * Self-directed and able to prioritize and multi-task as needed to complete projects.
