We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to serve as the program's Lead Cybersecurity Analyst/SME, proposing and developing innovative and efficient solutions to customer needs addressing cybersecurity risk management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support mission intelligence and data visualization services for cybersecurity risk management for a federal government agency
Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to our client, leveraging your extensive background in cybersecurity and risk management
Understand the requirements development process to propose and assist in the development of innovative solutions to present complex cybersecurity data and metrics to a federal customer
Quantify the impact and severity of data issues to the client's overall cybersecurity risk posture.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Special Publications related to cybersecurity and risk management (i.e. 800-53)
Understanding of the FISMA reporting requirements for federal agencies
Ability to identify and validate the clients' business needs and requirements
Familiarity with CDM and ISCM concepts
Experience producing detailed requirements documents, including requirements traceability matrices
Proactive and autonomous work ethic.
Desire to innovate and problem solve.
Experience briefing senior leaders
7+ years' experience defining and implementing operational and strategic recommendations under a OCIO or equivalent
Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Federal Security Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting Federal contracts and clients.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience collaborating with a development team to ensure implementation of customer's business needs and requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; Certification (1 of the following): CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent Security Clearance: 6C Tier 4 Public Trust
Work Environment: This job operates in a well-lit and temperature-controlled office environment. In this role, there will be standard office equipment such as phones and computers.
