Position Description: 


As a paid Mortgage Disclosure Analyst Intern, you will support the Mortgage Disclosure team and collaborate with mortgage lending staff to complete disclosure requirements to TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rules. Reviewing mortgage loan files for lender guidelines and pricing requirements.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Perform a pre-disclosure review for all loan types to include review of Colorado Tangible Net Benefit Disclosure, Reg B conditional approval letter, borrower mailing address, aggregate escrow disbursement dates, Home Counseling Providers, 4506C, Settlement Service Providers documents are in file.

  • Prepare, generate, and deliver accurate initial mortgage loan disclosures within TRID guidelines with a primary focus on conventional loan products

  • With guidance process complex disclosure requests

  • With guidance research and process complex structure and pricing options within TRID guidelines

  • Price loans and lock interest rates

  • Process disclosure requests with precision and accuracy

  • Research and maintain a working knowledge of TRID as well as product guidelines

Job Requirements:



  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Junior or Senior pursuing bachelors degree (business or communication related).  Will consider recent graduates.

Schedule:


Summer Intern will work full time during the summer months May-August.  Daily schedule:  M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Environmental, physical and psychological requirements: 



  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, currency, or coin, and operating a telephone.   Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment.  Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances.  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Students can work full-time OR part-time (based on department need)

  • Summer Internship is only for 90 days

  • Students are paid $12.50/hour
