Type: Full-Time
Manage Business Insurance including vendor communication, claims, certificates of Insurance and renewal process
Ensure compliance of all government laws at the Federal, State, and Local levels are met (OSHA, FMSCA, PHMSA, EPA, DEP, HIPPA, ACA). Maintain OSHA logs and ensure full compliance
Maintain files for policies, claims, and investigations relating to workers compensation, general liability, auto and property insurance programs
Oversee Fleet & Title registrations, Heavy use tax, and other registrations as required
Assist with field safety operations as needed
Maintain and administer corporate MSDS on-line service for all companies
Document and assist with the compliance of all federal, state, and local regulation
Assure prompt reporting of claims to company insurance carriers
Analyze, report, and make recommendations monthly for trends in insurance claims
Collaborate with the Safety & Environmental Manager and Director of Human Resources to reduce claims and drive positive results
Oversee and execute company drug and alcohol testing program and conduct all background checks for safety sensitive positions within the company
Perform annual MVR checks and FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse checks
Schedule and coordinate safety training programs
Assist in the development and maintenance of job hazard analyses
Record and maintain minutes for company Safety Council
Coordinate and manage safety inventory, including PPE
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of company events and activities
Support Executive and Human Resource staff in administrative and assigned project-based work
Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the Safety & Environmental Manager and Director of Human Resources
