RECREATION THERAPIST PRN at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia

Job Description:

A certified recreation Therapist is responsible for the delivery of services to patients within the Recreation Therapy Departments scope of service. The Recreation Therapist is responsible for assigned patient’s plan of care within the domain of Recreation Therapy. The Recreation Therapist must maintain standards of a professional therapist and must be able to provide care as described in the department’s policies and procedures. Reports to the Recreation Therapy Supervisor.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Therapeutic Recreation preferred

Eligible for, or currently certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation

Licensure

Must be certified in state of Virginia or eligible for certification.
