Reporting to the Director of Laboratory, the Laboratory Data Coordinator will collaborate with the multidisciplinary laboratory team such as blood bank, and microbiology, to ensure that the hospital is providing accurate, timely, cost-effective, and efficient testing of all patient specimen samples. 

Utilizing their in-depth knowledge of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Hospital Information System (HIS), the Laboratory Data Coordinator will conduct computer testing in accordance with the standards of accrediting agencies, ethical practices of the hospital, and prudent practices of safety and information security according to hospital guidelines. The Laboratory Data Coordinator is directly responsible for the technical oversight of the laboratory. The Data Coordinator will play an integral  role in ensuring that all patient samples are being tested in a timely, safe, and budget-friendly manner.
