A hospital in the greater Los Angeles area is seeking a Staff Nurse Intensive Care Unit to join their exceptional team.

This critical access hospital has 8 beds and a 35 bed long term care facility that provides excellent care to its community and visitors. The hospital is prepared to care for infants to elderly patients. The Staff RN Critical Care will join a hospital that offers emergency services, primary care, lab, radiology, and nursing home care. 

Reporting to the Critical Care Manager, the Critical Care Nurse works with Nurse Directors, Nurse Managers, and staff to provide professional nursing care in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families. The ICU RN will also exhibit good judgment, competency, and decision making for quality patient care and medication administration. The CCU RN will have recent critical care experience working in a hospital.

The Critical Care CCU Nurse is responsible for utilizing hospital resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being in accordance with the philosophies and standards for the hospital. Also, the CCU RN will use critical thinking to ensure overall quality of care to patients and families to establish a partnership of culture, care, and safety. The ICU RN will also be a patient advocate and provide quality of care to patients.

This hospital is located in a scenic mountain and coastal town in Alaska. The Staff RN Intensive Care Unit will have access to affordable housing and schools.
