As the Analyst of Sales Compensation, you will support the business unit compensation function in the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Collaborate on the development of the new compensation system, such as determining the approach to variable pay and helping to provide education for leaders and individual contributors as it relates to the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) business

  • Assist with gathering insights by researching other companies to keep abreast of best practices and sales compensation trends

  • Analyze and develop sales operations policies and procedures, as well as create process documents and lead initiatives on documenting any new procedures

  • Participate in developing automation and efficiency projects/trends, while also assisting in a sales operations support capacity and providing analysis on relevant data

  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of current sales tools and find opportunities for future tools

  • Support the sales teams via timely review and resolution of sales issues.

  • Assist in maintenance of compliance programs related to variable compensation, as well as territory and account management

  • Act as data governance for territory and account management, including auditing and administering account and goal changes

  • Assist in maintaining the functional areas of data management, ensuring data integrity through our CRM systems


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance or other related discipline, or equivalent work or military experience

  • 2 years of experience in business administration, HR, finance or related field

  • Proficiency in Windows applications and Microsoft Office; ability to create complex formulas in Excel and create queries in Microsoft software applications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce


It'd be great if you also have:

  • CCP certification

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills; ability to work with individuals and groups within and outside the organization

  • Ability to understand and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources
