Job Description:

&well is looking to hire a new Media Associate for our Performance Marketing team. This role will support the Media Specialists, Planners, and Directors in the planning, placement, optimization and reporting of client campaigns. This individual develops a broad understanding of all media platforms, working closely with our team on the execution and optimization for specific media channels.

Responsibilities

• Sets and meets deadlines


• Has strong time management and prioritization skills


• Leads basic projects from kickoff to completion


• Attends internal or client-specific status, planning and brainstorming meetings


• Works with other groups/disciplines as directed


• Shows clarity in written communication


• Keeps supervisor updated on project list


• Participates in best practices discussions led by the team 


• Pick a topic to own, start developing Subject Matter Expertise


• Assists team in helping pull relevant information/data for new business pitches


• Assists with the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of all media projects and buying assignments


• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines and pressure 


• Monitors trade publications and websites, along with blogs for new media trends 


• Collects media research data and assists in writing reports 


• Understands various media and their applications against client strategies, goals and objectives 


• Understands the value and usefulness of traditional, digital and emerging media 


• Assists in the development of media plans for existing clients as well as for prospective clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field.


• Bachelor’s Degree (REQUIRED)


• 1-2 years experience in an advertising agency preferred but not required. 


• Passion for the business of advertising.


• Possesses strong math skills and the ability to multi-task 


• Efficiently uses Word and Excel, with proficiency in PowerPoint as well as general communication tools such as email, Outlook, etc. (SmartSheet where appropriate)
