Job Description:


The Branch Operations Specialist I will assist with operational aspects of a department(s) for the Charter and its respective branch locations; is the subject matter expert in a given operational area, product, or service; and will provide charter wide operational oversight, monitoring, and customer assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Operations :


  • Monitors daily reports; resolves or escalates matters as needed. Performs needed research and maintenance to resolve issues; appropriately follows up with customers and/or employees. Assists with charter wide enforcement of department, bank, and corporate operating procedures, directives, regulatory compliance, and practices. Provides operational support and guidance to Branch Managers and employees when required. Interfaces with corporate operational teams to support branch operations as needed.

Audit :

  • Conducts quarterly audits at each branch location for various areas of risk. Researches and investigates differences and/or exceptions to retail teller and banker policies. Researches and responds to Compliance and Audit requests in coordination with Senior Management.

Training :

  • Provides ongoing support and training to the Charter. Participates in Corporate initiatives related to products or services, customer service, and other quality control concerns. Keeps staff informed on current products, services, and issues.

Branch Staffing :

  • Supports Branch staffing levels by coordination and scheduling of float staff. Acts as a float banker on an as needed, and approved by Retail Head, basis.

  • Minimum 3 years banking experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Monday-Friday, flexibility to work occasional Saturdays and community events
