The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As an Inside Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by driving activity metrics, maintaining a healthy CRM sales pipeline, coaching the team on all aspects of the buying and selling process, managing performance, and driving improvement initiatives across the team and enterprise. 


  • Drive profitable product sales through assigned inside sales team

  • Establishes and maintains business stakeholder relationships

  • Create, and maintain a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecast

  • Coach and provide feedback for continuous improvement

  • Work to attain team sales quota, and team sales productivity metrics

  • Encourages and promotes a positive team environment

  • Holds team accountable for success

  • Proficient in identifying market trends and account needs in order to react to market activity and reach favorable sales goals.

  • Drive a data driven, analytical approach to sales model optimization

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


  • Five (5) years sales and/or marketing experience] in a private, public, government or military environment


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Understanding of sales processes and Cracking the Code methodology


  • Knowledge of key Consumer products and markets


  • Knowledge of competitive suppliers & product lines


  • Advanced selling skills


  • Value selling mindset


  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills


  • Strong active listening skills


  • Strong oral, written & presentation skills


Travel: Minimal travel is anticipated
