Duties and Responsibilities



  1. Read and understand blueprints and routing to produce parts from them to the required specifications.

  2. Must be able to write legible names, words and Numbers.

  3. Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspections and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality

  4. Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.

  5. Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.

  6. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

  7. Must be able to read a tape measure.

  8. Be able to measure steel thickness with gauge.


Skills and Experience



  1. Possess the skill and ability to Operate equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job.

  2. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 LBS occasionally.

  3. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.

  4. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.

  5. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.

High School Diploma
