Position Summary

NetApp is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR team that supports our Sales, Marketing, Services and Customer Support Corporate (SMS & CS) organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading through influence and providing HR support to global teams and will collaborate effectively with other HR disciplines and colleagues to create and deliver programs and solutions to the business. This includes delivery of talent and leadership programs as well as identifying and implementing organizational development/effectiveness strategies.

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources SMS & CS this individual will be an advocate for NetApp's values and culture. They will also be responsible for co-creating and implementing a comprehensive people rhythm that aligns to with our Thrive strategy objectives and enhances employee experience.

Key Responsibilities



* Develop in depth knowledge of the business both strategically and operationally; leverage knowledge when providing business partner consulting to leadership teams/client groups.

* Build effective relationships with business leaders; provide thought leadership related to people and organizational strategies and opportunities.

* Translate business strategies and opportunities into appropriate HR and Organizational Excellence actions.

* Provide expertise in the areas of organizational development, employee development, coaching, matrix management, talent management, succession planning, engagement and retention strategies.

* Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in the development delivery of key HR programs and services, including compensation, talent acquisition, leadership development, inclusion strategies, future of work design and employee relations.

* Coach managers and leaders to be effective leaders/coaches for their people.

* May serve as program/project lead for business or HR initiatives across functional groups, geographies.

* Effectively balances the client's interests with the needs of the company.


Job Requirements


* Ideally 10 years Human Resources related experience with at least 5 years as a Business Partner in a global, highly matrixed organization.

* Strong business acumen, analytical and critical thinking.

* Experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role partnering and interfacing with senior leaders and global teams.

* Strong OD design experience and background in leading organizations through transformational change and large-scale initiatives.

* Proven ability as a credible, valued HR Business Partner with experience in consulting and coaching Senior Executives.

* Effective communication and influencing skills with proven ability to navigate ambiguity.

* Ability to manage complexity and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* High technology experience a plus.

If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is 181,800 USD. This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, and Employee stock purchase plan *. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
