Overall Job Summary

* The Site Support Specialist is responsible for assigned project site start-up and qualification activities as well as site support throughout the life of the project. This position will maintain all site qualification documentation using Good Clinical Practice and Good Documentation Practices and will update the site database with relevant site information. The Site Support Specialist will schedule all site trainings, maintain the Training Campus database for studies utilizing online training, and build strong relationships with sites and internal BioTel Research departments. The Site Support Specialist may carry a mixed portfolio of Imaging and Cardiac studies of varying complexity as assigned by the Supervisor, Site Support and will work with moderate oversight.

* Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with site contacts and internal BioTel Research departments

* Serving as main point of contact for Imaging and/or Cardiac sites participating in Clinical Trials

* Generating and documenting all site communications associated with the Site Qualification process from initial contact to First Participant Ready

* Ensuring weekly status follow ups are completed on time and entered in the site database for use by project management during customer review

* Entering site information and updating the site database as needed throughout the study

* Providing site support via email and telephone

* Auditing and ensuring quality and completeness of site documentation files

* Providing daily and weekly metrics for completed activities

* Creating unique project specific templates for site communication

* Providing feedback to the Project Manager if issues or concerns arise that may impact site qualification

* Managing special projects and programs assigned by the Supervisor, Site Support

Education and Experience Requirements

* Education: Associates degree in business, life sciences, or relevant work experience

* Relevant Work Experience: Required 2-5 years' experience in a customer-facing environment

* Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Knowledge/Abilities -Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Accurate keyboarding skills

* Communication Skills (Verbal/Written): Excellent communication skills both written and spoken and ability to provide high level of customer service

* Management/Leadership Skills: N/A

* Customer Service: WECARE - BioTelemetry based customer centric program

* Other: Must display attention to detail and independence while performing deadline driven tasks. Must be highly organized and motivated. Familiarity with Clinical Studies / Health Care environment a plus.
