The Consultant is responsible for identifying, accessing, and engaging high-quality healthcare and physician leaders, regionally, and nationally, as prospective candidates and referral sources for EPLS searches, both current and future. The Consultant also develops and manages the search strategy for his/her assigned searches.
Job Tasks:
As requested, participates in the Client Intake interviews. Debriefs with Partner/Sr. Consultant to launch search; loads Kick-off form to Jobscience.
Develops search strategy (recruiting plan), including the use of Research as needed. Garners approval of the plan from Partner/Sr. Consultant team members.
Conducts direct candidate development outreach campaign via email, LI and phone. Initiates all appropriate postings.
Applies prospects to Jobscience and moves applicants through the JS AMS through the course of the search.
Conducts initial telephone screens of promising potential candidates, consulting with Sr. Consultant, as appropriate. Records screening notes in Jobscience.
Refers screened prospective candidates to Sr. Consultant with recommendations regarding next steps.
Updates search status reports to present to client on search update calls (typically bi-weekly) and participates in client update calls.
Updates search record as appropriate through the course of the search.
Manages multiple search assignments/clients as assigned using appropriate time management skil
Minimum Education/Certifications:
Baccalaureate degree required. Major in life sciences, health administration/public health, communications or business most desirable.
Preferred Education/Certifications:
Master's degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
Two or more years of relevant work experience, within healthcare industry experience required.
Preferred Experience
C-Suite and Physician recruitment experience preferred
Work Environment and Culture
Work performed primarily in an office environment, consisting of light to moderate physical activity, including use of computer, telephone and/or other office equipment.
Work on-site within the expected work hours and schedule including required meetings and on-time attendance.
