Physician Liaisons are an integral part of the recruitment process. The goal of this role is to build relationships with incoming candidates, facilitate the communication between recruiter and candidate, and drive conversion rate from applicant to placement.

The ideal candidate is someone that is results oriented, has a drive to succeed, and exhibits a high level of personal responsibility and accountability.

Job Tasks:


  • Process incoming applications through data entry.

  • Screen interested candidates according to the position and client parameters, in order to evaluate candidate qualification for position, interest level, readiness to relocate, and community fit.

  • Schedule calls and maintain calendars for specialty specific recruiters.

  • Use consultative selling skills and probing questions in order to uncover candidate motivation and needs.

  • Stay knowledgeable of all current openings either by specialty or by region.

  • Build relationships with current candidates and potential new graduates.

  • Source leads within region/specialty using web search, and industry resources through high volume technological innovations.

  • Utilize and manage all available resources including internet inquiries, internal referrals, database searches, networking, and outside website resources, in order to contact candidates.

  • Establish and maintain credibility through initial interactions with candidates.

  • Maintain an updated target list of active searches to source candidates for by maintaining a working relationship with Consultants and Candidates.

Minimum Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Education/Certifications:

  • College degree or Military Background

Minimum Experience:

  • 0-2 years of sales or healthcare experience

Preferred Experience


  • 3 or more years sales experience, including some phone sales experience

  • Healthcare Background

Work Environment and Culture


  • Work performed primarily in an office environment, consisting of light to moderate physical activity, including use of computer, telephone and/or other office equipment.

  • Work on-site within the expected work hours and schedule including required meetings and on-time attendance.
