Senior Systems Analyst, eviCore at Cigna in FRANKLIN, Tennessee

Job Description:

The Senior Systems Analyst provides strategic analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced professional input to complex Systems Analysis assignments/projects.
  
  


• Assists in the analysis, design and the preparation of application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installing them.
  
  


• Works with client management to identify and specify application requirements.
  
  


• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  
  


• Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
  
  


• Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
  
  


• Formulates logical statements of application system requirements.
  
  


• Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design considering existing systems, available technology, the capacity and limitations of the equipment, operating time and form of desired results.
  
  


• Assists in the design and implementation of a detailed systems test plan to ensure an accurate and effective product.
  
  


• Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals.
  
  


• Works autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others.
  
  


• Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.
  
  


• Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Systems Analysis.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of analysis experience, required.
  
  


• 1+ year of senior level analysis experience, required.
  
  


• Proficient in Jira, required.
  
  


• Experience in Jira Align, a plus.
