This position will lead a production team of approximately 10 - 15 people to meet daily production schedules, while maintaining a focus on other daily key performance metrics. This position will be responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Supervisor in serving as an additional point of contact in all matters involving the Cells, in addition to resolving employee relations questions/concerns as they arise.
Essential Job Functions
Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement throughout the cell.
Lead the team to drive results in key performance metrics, which include safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and backlog.
Promote cross-training and flexibility with job tasks and responsibilities.
Demonstrated judgment and appropriateness when to engage cross-functional leaders when problem solving.
Effective prioritization of day-to-day activities, while balancing long-term projects.
Functions as a point of contact for the Cells to cross-functional leaders.
Attends meetings as required.
Proficient hand tool use and soldering.
Proficient in manual and automated assembly, non-standard processes (hi-pot, conformal coating, silicone).
