• Broadleaf is seeking a Network Engineer in APG, Maryland who will support development functions for mission critical business applications.

It is expected that the person in this role will:

• Must have five (5) to nine (9) years of working Network experience.


• Engineer networking solutions as required


• Configure routers and switches as changes require


• Apply applicable security patched as required


• Assist teammates complete tasks as assigned


• Ensure configuration management


• Perform backup as directed


• Familiar with WINT is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Technical discipline
  

Required Certification:

• Active Secret Security Clearance


• IAT II Certification is required (Security+ preferred)

Clearance Level:

• Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience:

• At least five (5) years of full-time professional Networking experience required.


• At least two (2) years working experience on Multiprotocol label switching and Multicasting. 


• Familiarity with Cisco Routers and Switches


• Familiarity with Brocade Switches


• Familiarity with Juniper Routers


• Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama


• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF)


• Familiarity with Riverbed a plus


• Familiarity with satellite networking equipment a plus


• Network troubleshooting skills
