Responsibilities:

• Locate, read and understand manufacturer installation manuals and specifications to be able to install and service multiple lines of gas fireplace equipment, including stoves, inserts, zero clearance appliances, gas log burners, and fire pits.


• Use the product-specific training to perform successful on-site inspections, installations and service on gas fireplace equipment.


• Serve as a liaison with manufacturers to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.


• Understand the use of multimeter and how to diagnose thermocouples and thermopiles.


• Understand how to check gas pressures.


• Understand how to diagnose gas valves and regulators.


• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.


• Enjoy providing great customer service.

• Prior experience with the installation of gas fireplaces and appliances


• High school diploma or GED 


• 
  
  • Trade School completed or enrolled in desired
  
  


• Currently owns the appropriate hand and power tools required for the trade


• Unrestricted driver's license free of negative points according to VA DMV standards


• Aptitude for plumbing trade


• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
