IT Business Analyst at American Trim in Sidney, Ohio

Job Description:

We proudly serve a diverse customer base in the appliance, automotive, trucking and aftermarket industries.  American Trim has multiple manufacturing locations and is the industry leader in forming and decorating metal products, working to develop and market breakthrough ideas and product concepts that improve the aesthetics, performance and enjoyment of products that can be found in every business, household, and vehicle system. 

We have an immediate opening for an Information Technology Business Analyst.  In this role, you will lead collaborative efforts to develop, implement, and support integration solutions with our operations and support functions.  With our fast pace, varied product mix and production processes, the ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with the vision to see how our various systems work together. 

As a liaison between IT and the user community, a strong business and technical acumen are necessary.  You will work with our QAD ERP system, Factivity MES system, all aspects of bar code printing and scanning, and PLC integration, as well as other business systems.  End user and technical documentation, training and communication, as well as measuring effectiveness of IT systems are responsibilities of this position.  This position is the escalation point to end user support when the Help Desk cannot resolve issues. 

Attendance and participation in professional networking and seminars is expected as part of your continuing education.

Experience

• 5 year(s): 5 years of IT Business Analyst experience


• Extensive experience with core software applications, including ERP systems. Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices. Strong project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.

Education

• Bachelors or better in Management Info Systems
