Job Description:

As a VP International Banking Specialist covering the Innovation Economy, you are responsible for bringing our international platform to US-based companies in the fast-growing and dynamic Technology, Disruptive Commerce and Life Sciences (TDC & LS) industry groups within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI).

The International team partners closely with the domestic TDC & LS Banking and Treasury teams as well as our in-country bankers to provide Treasury, Credit, Trade and FX solutions to US-HQ clients and prospects that are operating internationally. International Banking VP's maintain and grow our largest global client relationships by helping established technology and life science companies navigate the geo-political, regulatory and banking landscape in each of the 30+ countries that the Commercial Bank operates in.

This is a client facing, revenue generating role that requires a candidate that is extremely well organized and able to manage internal and client relationships across time zones. Candidates are expected to bring new innovative solutions to a portfolio of around 50 large international clients while helping to convert multi-country prospects.

Day to day activities will include (but not limited to):

  • Development of new business with large US-HQ clients and prospects that have a presence across multiple countries
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills
  • Disciplined pipeline management
  • Liaise with clients, Banking, Treasury, Trade, FX and Product Partners to develop client solutions and drive portfolio growth
  • Monitor portfolio profitability and post-close revenue ramp
  • Uncover and scope new revenue streams and ensure the highest standards of client obsession are met


  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of treasury or banking experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand International Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
  • Strong drive and ambition to be an individual contributor salesperson
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
