Job Description:

As the Product Portfolio Manager for Small Business Deposits, you will orchestrate the strategic planning and readiness of our product development across our deposits and cash management product lines to ensure Chase for Business continues to lead in the integrated financial product space.

The Business Banking Deposits team is seeking a highly effective Vice President, Small Business Deposits Product Portfolio Manager to join the organization to support transformation across our deposits, merchant services, and cash management product lines. The role will lead the strategic planning, organizing, and reporting across all initiatives for Small Business (SB) Deposits. This person will work closely with the SB Deposits Product Owner and Technical Partner to ensure the SB Deposits book of work is strategically delivered. You will be become the critical resource on product development readiness within the agile context. This dynamic opportunity will work in a highly collaborative environment with direct influence on existing and future products and services we offer.

Business Banking (BB) supports 2.4 million+ clients across the U.S. with 200,000+ clients that are aligned with one of our dedicated Business Relationship Managers. Business Banking serves clients with business revenues up to $20 million and partners with other lines of business to provide customers with a wide suite of products such as card payment acceptance and other Merchant Services, Cash Management and treasury services, credit originations, and Digital tools and experiences.

Job Description:


  • Maintain oversight of the overall Small Business Deposits product development portfolio and work directly with Product Owner to strategically plan development and readiness across initiatives
  • Orchestrate across all SB Deposits initiatives to ensure Area Product Owners fulfill key readiness activities throughout the course of new product development and release
  • Guide Area Product Owners through the necessary governance and compliance functions to gain approval to move towards the general availability release
  • Prepare executive level presentations, communications, and reporting to convey the overall state of Small Business Deposits product development
  • Maintains an ongoing deep knowledge of customer and user experience insights and journeys
  • Ensure collaboration between the Deposits Product team and technology partners to ensure alignment between product and technology in terms of overall status, risk, and dependencies
  • Supports a strong controls environment and audit framework
  • Define, document, and communicate standardized Agile delivery processes to be adopted by the Small Business Deposits organization, as well as supporting transition to New Product Architecture
  • Define key performance indicators for status reporting and applying strong data analytical skills in order to produce meaningful metrics for managing Agile delivery

Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of experience in the role of Project Manager / Program Manager / Project Delivery lead within a financial services or technologically oriented company
  • Strong abilities within collaborative applications such as Confluence, SharePoint, and Jira
  • Must have a proven track record in strategic problem solving, working closely with product and technology development teams and driving operational execution
  • Experience working through the entire lifecycle of complex application build-out and delivery
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment while building and leveraging partnerships
  • Fluent understanding of project management framework and methodologies
  • Proven leadership qualities as well as high performance track record
