Job Description:

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School invites applications for a full-time Staff Physician position with the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission of providing quality healthcare and training the next generation of physicians.

Position Key Accountabilities:

• Providing direct patients care in an outpatient settings and other activities may include supervision of medical students and residents in clinic.
  
  
• Developing and sustaining an environment in the patient care units that support excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes to include excellent risk adjusted outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas medical license and ABFM board certification. Multilingual skills preferred. Comprehensive benefits package.
