Job Description:

Arconic is currently searching for an Advanced Manufacturing Manager to lead our advanced manufacturing efforts across our Global Rolled Products and Extrusion business units. The Manager will be part of the Global Product Technology and Engineering group, reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Director. The incumbent will be responsible for developing the strategic direction to contribute to Arconic's profitable growth. After the strategy development, the role will develop advanced manufacturing methodologies and tools and see to their proliferation across the enterprise. She / He will team with leaders across IT, Manufacturing Technology and Engineering, Operations and Commercial. The successful candidate will interact with the following on a regular basis: BU Presidents, Plant Managers, Area Managers, Department Managers, Maintenance Managers, SMART Leaders, Supervisors, Team leaders or Operators as required. Location will be at our rolling mill near Knoxville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Define long term strategy for advanced manufacturing initiatives
• Create liaison structure between operators and data collection interface
• Design visual management dashboards for operational leaders
• Review data storage sources and make innovative, secure recommendations
• Identify low technology, critical, data-driven processes, then collaborate with the IT leaders to recommend secure platform solution
• Partner with IT leaders on Legacy systems to ensure long term support solutions
• Create linkage between similar processes, solutions, and tools across multiple locations
• Lead GRP/AEX roadmap for the training, development, and sustainability of advanced manufacturing solutions
• Responsible for identifying and implementing systems to improve productivity, stability, reliability, and profitability of the GRPE business
• Collaborate with MTE Manufacturing Technology, Corporate IT, GRPE Capex, and plant SMART leaders, Operations Managers, Commercial Managers and Technical teams to identify target projects

• This candidate must have good communication and presentation skills and can work across all levels of the organization

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management from an accredited institution
• 5 years' of Operations experience with a focus on continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.) and demonstrates strong leadership, team building and facilitation skills across the business organization
• 3 years of implementing technology-based solutions in a manufacturing environment (Power BI, Power BI apps, Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, SQL server reporting, Firewalls)
• Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time including internationally

Preferred Qualifications:
• A Graduate Degree in Business or Sciences will be considered a plus.
• Expert in Power Platform
• Experience in organizational wide strategies and standard implementation

• Very good business acumen and understanding of rolling business P&L
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with senior management, both written and verbal, in English.
