Mission of the Role (What you will be doing)

The Production Equipment Operator plays an essential role in operating corrugated production equipment such as, the F-90, Curioni, Hooper, Tan-Tan, Kirby, Taper/Gluer, Arm Stitcher, Auto Stitcher and the Slitter and assists shift supervisors or lead person in completing daily production tasks that will satisfy customer requirements and expectations.

Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable measurements)


Essential Functions (Essential/secondary functions that support the primary responsibilities)

- Set-up, run, troubleshoots and performs quality checks on all corrugated production equipment.

- Must be accountable for all activities on or around the corrugated production equipment.

- Responsible for the overall quality of the product coming off corrugated production equipment.

- Assist in loading raw materials and unloading finished product from corrugated production equipment.

- Follow and enforce all safety procedures and policies.

- Entering data into PDE (Plant Data Entry) system.

- Assist in stripping and palletizing of finished product.

- Assist in the general housekeeping of the production areas in both foam and corrugated.

- Assist the Production Supervisors and lead persons as requested.

Educational/Training Requirements/Experience (What your background should look like)

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements

- Must be able to accurately take measurements using a tape measure or other measuring devices.

- Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.

- Must have basic computer skills.

- Forklift Certification or ability to be certified is required - company reserves the right to pay for training and certification.

- Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions in English.

- Must have the ability to meet production deadlines.

- Must have the ability to be flexible in their work schedule in order to accommodate internal and customer emergencies.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be reliable and have the ability to work in a team-based environment.

FLSA Status -Non- Exempt

$15.00/hr
